CASSETTE AIR CONDITIONERS
While ceiling-mounted cassette air conditioners have previously been used more often in commercial applications, they are now also finding favour in upmarket home applications. As the compressor unit can be mounted up to 50 metres away from ceiling unit, virtually silent air conditioning is assured.
CONSOLE AIR CONDITIONERS
The console air conditioner is a self contained air conditioning unit fits into a hole in the wall. The outside section is covered with a grill. This type of unit is usually installed in buildings where each office has its own air conditioner installed and offices have outside walls. Sizes vary from 9 000 BTU to 24 000 BTU. The unit can either heat or cool the office.
DUCTED AIR CONDITIONERS
With an outdoor unit mounted in the ceiling linked to a separate outdoor compressor unit, ducted splits allow the cooling of several areas via ducts in ceilings or walls.
DVM AIR CONDITIONERS
The DVM is known for its world-class energy efficiency and outstanding performance. This is a perfectly optimised cooling and heating system for large buildings requiring different air solutions.
MID WALL AIR CONDITIONERS
A good night’s sleep can make a difference between a productive day and a lousy one. In fact, poor sleep has been linked to problems ranging from stress to obesity to transportation fatalities. A comfortable bedroom is an important factor in getting the best sleep possible. Here’s how to set up your bedroom so you sleep more soundly every night.
FLOOR STANDING AIR CONDITIONERS
As a result of the horizontal and vertical flaps that move independently of one another, a greater diversity of air-flow is available depending upon your needs: direct air flow in one direction, long-range cooling, broad left-right airflow and three-dimensional cooling.
UNDER CIELING AIR CONDITIONERS
An under ceiling unit allows for installation at any night below the ceiling. A condensate pump can be fitted if the condensate drain does not allow for normal drainage by means of gravity. A hole in the wall (approx. 65mm) allows for the connection of pipes and cables to the outdoor unit.
WINDOW WALL AIR CONDITIONING UNITS
A window wall is a type of AC that’s installed into a window of a room and designed to cool that specific room. An evaporator coil cools the interior while a condenser coil releases hot air outside. Window air conditioners work by removing both heat and humidity, in addition some models can heat a room. A window air conditioner is the most economical choice for cooling. It is much easier to install than high-wall or central air conditioner, provided the hole is already in the window or wall. Room air conditioners can also be built into the wall for a more permanent installation.
13 000 Evaporative coolers supplies 13 000 cubic metres of air per hour at a pressure of 180 Pa. It is available as top, side or bottom discharge, suitable for areas up to 130 square metres. The cooler is available as a 2-speed machine or variable speed. 18 000 Evaporative coolers supplies 18 000 cubic metres of air per hour at a pressure of 180 Pa. It is available as a top, side or bottom discharge, suitable for areas up to 180 square metres. This cooler is available as a 2-speed machine or variable speed. 30 000 Evaporative coolers supplies 30 000 cubic metres of air per hour at pressure of 180 Pa. It is available as top, side or bottom, suitable for areas up to 300 square metres. Side discharge units shows the evaporative cooler with side discharge function. The top discharge cooler allows for installation on ground level or next to the wall or below the place of entry required.

A heat pump is a device that transfers heat energy from a heat source to a sink against a temperature gradient. Heat pumps are designed to move thermal energy opposite the direction of spontaneous heat flow. A heat pump uses some amount of external high-grade energy to accomplish the desired transfer of thermal energy from heat source to heat sink. While compressor-driven air conditioners and freezers are familiar examples of heat pumps, the term “heat pump” is more general and applies to HVAC devices, used for space heating or space cooling. When a heat pump is used for heating, it employs the same basic refrigeration-type cycle, used by an air conditioner or refrigerator, but in the opposite direction, releasing heat into the conditioned space, rather than the surrounding environment. In this use, heat pumps generally draw heat from the cooler external air from the ground. A heat pump can be used to heat a swimming pool or the water for a hot water cylinder (geyser).
